33 years, was sentenced to one year's rigorous imprisonment, and sent to Noakliuli Jail on the eveuiug of the 30th June 1892. He was somewhat pale in appearance, but fairly wellnourished. His weight was 104lbs., which is more than the generality of the people of his class have in this part of the country in good health. On questioning him as to whether he suffered from any disease, he stated that he had had a pain in his abdomen for two years, and that he was in the habit of taking bicarbonate of soda to relieve it.
